Move through the worldwith more confidence.

Guide Pup turns camera-based scene understanding into concise spoken guidance, haptic cues, and optional voice controls—so useful context can arrive without taking over.

Perception → context

Useful context. Less cognitive load.

Guide Pup is designed around a simple idea: the best guidance is not the most information. It is the right information, at the right moment, in a form that does not demand visual attention.

01

Scene understanding

Camera frames are interpreted as a whole scene, so nearby surfaces, openings, and obstacles can become useful context.

02

Spoken direction

Concise cues prioritize what matters now. Ask for more detail when you want a richer description.

03

Tactile confirmation

Optional haptics reinforce key guidance states without adding another screen to watch.

A quieter interaction loop

From scene to speech in three focused steps.

The phone stays simple. Analysis lives behind the experience, while the user keeps control of when guidance starts, how much detail it provides, and when it stops.

  1. 01
    Observe

    Hold the phone forward.

Guide Pup captures a lightweight camera frame while a guidance session is active.

  2. 02
    Interpret

    Turn pixels into context.

The backend analyzes path clearance, surfaces, obstacles, and scene context with conservative safety rules.

  3. 03
    Guide

    Hear what matters next.

The app speaks a short movement cue, adds haptic feedback, and stays ready for bounded voice commands.

Hands-free when it helps

Say what you need. Keep moving at your pace.

A bounded voice command set keeps the interaction predictable. Buttons remain available whenever voice control is not the right choice.

Safety is a boundary, not a badge

Helpful by design. Honest about its limits.

Guide Pup provides assistive context. It does not replace a cane, trained guide, orientation and mobility skills, or personal judgment—and it is not an emergency response service.

Conservative fallback

Unclear means pause.

Low-confidence, invalid, or high-hazard analysis is designed to fall back to a STOP cue so the user can pause and reorient.

Control stays close

Adjust the experience.

Speech rate, description detail, haptics, repeat, and stop controls help each person shape how guidance feels.

Privacy made visible

Know where frames go.

Camera frames are sent to the Guide Pup backend and may be processed by third-party AI providers. The public policy pages explain the current behavior.
